Aurus returns from Dubai, advancing in Web3 and Real World Assets. Key partnerships and upcoming TOKEN2049 participation highlight our journey in tokenizing precious metals.

This week marked a significant milestone for the Aurus team, as we returned from an action-packed trip to Dubai, filled with groundbreaking developments and future partnerships in both the Web3 and Real World Asset (RWAs) sectors.

Aurus HQ in The City of Gold

Dubai, also known as the City of Gold, is at the forefront of the global crypto market. Aurus is playing a pivotal role in steering this city toward a future where precious metals and digital assets converge. Our establishment of the Aurus HQ in Dubai has proved invaluable, as it has positioned Aurus perfectly between the traditional precious metals market and the innovative Web3 community.

The renewed engagement and understanding from leaders and Web3 innovators in the region has been extremely encouraging. It’s increasingly evident that the industry is recognising the significant opportunities offered by tokenized precious metals. From the prestigious Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) to the largest memecoin and metaverse developers, there is a growing appreciation for the value and utility that tokenized Gold (tGOLD) can bring to their Web3 ecosystems.

Gold in Web3 – Sempsa JP, DMCC, Wertvoll & Authic Labs

Over the last few months, we've been diligently working behind the scenes on a premium digital collectibles initiative, in collaboration with Sempsa JP, Wertvoll and Authic Labs in the UAE. While we can't share specifics yet, we're pleased with the positive feedback we received from key decision-makers at the DMCC when we presented our initiative. Our discussions focused on formalizing our partnership, detailing operational plans, and defining stakeholder roles, marking a significant step forward in this ambitious and exciting project.

Precious Metals on RWA Marketplace – Polytrade Finance

Our meeting with the Polytrade Finance team in Dubai deepened our connection and paved the way for further exploration of our partnership. Polytrade is emerging as a highly anticipated and leading marketplace for Real World Assets and will list tokenized precious metals - tGOLD, tSILVER, and tPLATINUM - on their Real World Asset marketplace in March 2024. Polytrade's platform, which already features tokenized real estate, collectibles, treasuries, and equities, will now diversify their offering even more with the inclusion of gold, silver and platinum.

In collaboration with Polytrade Finance, we will be hosting a side event during TOKEN2049 on April 15-16 in Dubai. TOKEN2049 stands as a premier crypto event, gathering the brightest minds and leading companies in the Web3 industry. It serves as a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, investors, developers, industry insiders, and global media, fostering unparalleled networking opportunities.
